The “Lap” Cat

I'm quite flattered that our cat Sammy approves of our garden. He enjoys nibbling on the blue fescue I planted along a path, several varieties of bamboo that stand tall in large containers on the deck, and a batch of cat mint I keep in a nursery pot on the back steps. To wash it all down, he exercises his little pink tongue to lap up water from the froggy fountain we have displayed under our redwoods. (See video!) With Sammy around, it somehow just makes the experience of being in our garden complete.
