I think one of the most extraordinary things about gardens is how they naturally connect people. Gardens, no matter how big or small, are a part of everyone’s past, present and future. I planted the seed for several conversations with our guests by asking them “Do you have a garden? Tell me a little bit about it.” While I genuinely wanted to hear about their personal outdoor spaces, I really wanted to know more about what their gardens mean to them.
